Under K Amy’s direction, KB Killa Beats begins 2026 by releasing the highly anticipated “My Diary 16,” which continues to expand as usual upon an existing series of successful musical sessions. The project has gained a significant audience based on what artists share their true experiences. All artists who usually feature on this project in this series are able to tell their stories based on actual life events including struggles, disappointment and succces. On My Diary 16, KB Killa Beats features Y Cool, D Bwoy Telem, Ruff Kid, King George.
Each release in this series contains verses by multiple rappers, as well as a single chorus sung by an experienced singer; for example in this Diary session, King George did the hook. One interesting thing about My Diaries, KB usually adds different artists in his songs. Some who are well known and others who may have just begun their careers.
As time has gone on, the “My Diary” Compilation has also grown to be considered one the most popular music compilations in Zambia and on par with some other large collaborative albums. KB Killa Beats has been instrumental in making the Zambian Music Industry what it is by producing music for numerous emerging artists; in addition, he has also assisted with helping those same artists develop and become successful, which shows how much of an influence he continues to have on the Zambian Music Scene.
