Zambia’s top-notch singer, Yo Maps, the founding artist of Olios Records, is back on the Zambian music scene with another brand new street anthem, which he proudly entitled “Lwambo”. Lwambo is a Bemba word that can be translated into English as ‘Gossip’. This brand new song marks his fourth release this year, 2025. The song is a follow-up to his previous hit single tagged “Mr & Mrs”. Yo Maps is the first Zambian artist to create a Boomplay portal. He clearly said that he had about seventy-five Zambian artists under his portal. However, Yo Maps’ latest song specifically talks about people who always find time to gossip about others.
This song, Lwambo, is already catching overwhelming numbers from other platforms like TikTok. The song has managed to gain over twenty thousand videos that use the same sound.
