Blackout Media-signed artist, Y Ace, a Zambian fast-rising rapper, has finally released his much-anticipated studio debut EP, ‘Ghetto Boy’. Y Ace is a well-known Zambian rapper who has been in the music industry for more than 5 years now. He penetrated the Zambian music industry and gained huge recognition after he released “Mukalale,” which happened to be his breakthrough song. The song “Muakale” featured one of Zambia’s top-notch artists, with the likes of SG Man and the highly talented and gifted music singer, Kayz Adams. Y Ace’s Extended Play ‘Ghetto Boy’ comprises four songs with notable features. The artists who participated in this project are: Flex Zm, Nez Long, 76 Drums, and Selemanyo.
This brand new EP ‘Ghetto Boy’ is a follow-up to Y Ace’s previous single tagged ‘Pa Kan’gono’, which features Chiwala. Zambian music is known for its unique common sound called Zambian Beats or Zed Beats. Zambian Beats is a common genre that combines African sounds like R&B and hip-hop.
