The Copperbelt-based female rapper, Xaven, also known as Kopala Queen, has bounced back on the music scene with yet another brand new masterpiece record, which she proudly entitled ‘Wow’. This new song, ‘Wow’, marks her second official single this year. The song Wow, is a follow-up to her previously released song, tagged ‘Kuifililwa’ alongside Alpha Entertainment’s signed artist Chef 187, a Zambian hip-hop sensei. Xaven is one of the hardest female rappers that Zambia has ever produced. She was given a welcome seat in the music industry after she dropped her breakthrough song titled “Nalema,” which features the highly talented Zambian top-notch singer/songwriter, and hit maker, Yo Maps.
Zambian music is known for its unique common sound called Zambian Beats or Zed Beats. Zambian Beats is a common genre that combines African sounds like R&B and hip-hop.
