Macky 2 has finally released the tribute song for his close friend Dandy Crazy who passed away on the 2nd of January 2025. Macky 2 & Dandy Crazy were very close friends. They may not have been seen together on socials but were very close. Back in the 2000’s, Macky 2, Afunika, Dandy Crazy & Baska Baska formed a record label or group known as Danger Zone. They were still uprising artists and had made it a mission that whoever had a breakthrough single was going to uplift others. Fortunately one of them had a breakthrough single and it was Dandy Crazy. Dandy Crazy didn’t forget his mission that he needed to uplift others as well.
It didn’t take much time, the second artist from Danger Zone who had a breakthrough was Afunika followed by Macky 2. Macky 2 and Dandy Crazy have collaborated on several songs such as Life Yandi, The DangerZone Reunion, Bed Sheet and more. The journey ends unfortunately for Dandy Crazy. He was involved in a road accident on New Years Eve. His three friends died on the spot. He was rushed to the hospital and on 2nd January 2025 around 01hrs, he passed away after undergoing a surgery. He was burried on the 6th of January. Today the 8th, Macky 2 decided to do a tribute song dedicated to Dandy Crazy. Download the song below.
