“We must work together on trade and investments in areas that benefit both of us. For example, Zambia possesses substantial resources in vital minerals that are highly sought after, and there is a chance to establish a successful collaboration in this area. However, to make this occur, we must have a well-defined strategy and plan for cooperating,” President Hichilema said.
“We must prioritize energy as a crucial area of cooperation if we want to accelerate progress.” Although the higher-level framework we have put in place offers a strong basis, we must now delve further into particular energy-related transactions. The President continued, “Whether it is building robust power networks, harnessing our mineral resources, fostering sustainable agriculture, or improving our transportation systems, our combined efforts will be the driving force behind our collective success.” He stated that the nation and the EU must work closely together in key areas, such as energy, critical minerals, agriculture, and transportation infrastructure.
